screen printing is an elusive, mysterious practice to most of us, and this class breaks it down to basics for you.  A flash of two tiny light bulbs, combined with your favorite design and a little ink will allow you to reach your printing goals!

Using the print gocco, a special printer created in 1977 by Japan's Noburu Hyama, you will be able to print already created screens provided in the class, and create designs of your own that you may screen all on your own.   The best part?  With this keen little printer, multiples of up to 50 pieces may be printed at a time.

Sky's the limit: From tees, to cards, to to tea towels, let your imagination lead you where you'd like.

Materials List (must bring with you to class):
Ideas for your design (or an actual photocopy of your favorite design)
Favorite Paper/Card Stock and/or small piece of Fabric (cloth napkin(s), tea towel)
Ziploc Bags if you want to save your screen for later use

Red colored pencil
Riso Carbon Pen (special black ink pen just for gocco printing)
gocco Printing Ink
2 light bulbs
1 printing screen
