Ages 8 - 12
Advanced Beginner Level
Now that your child has learned the basics, its time to put those
skills to work! After all, learning to sew is just like everything
else, its all about the practice. This class is designed for
students who have taken Sewing 101, or who already have a bit of
experience. We are going to build those skills while making cool,
fun projects.
Well start with pillows and plushies and move our way up to bags
and accessories, and then on up to skirts and tanks. This is
designed to be an ongoing class, so well rotate the projects as
needed.
Students are responsible for bringing their own fabric and notions,
and specific patterns, if necessary.
We highly recommend your child bring their own sewing machine so
they can practice at home, but if you dont have one yet, sewing
machines can be provided.
A list of required materials will be given 1 week prior to class.
Sewing is a lifelong skill your child will always be proud of, and
youll be proud of her when she exclaims: I made it myself!
Offered Thursdays 4pm - 5:30pm

Terms & Conditions:
Cancellations. Cancellations made at least 14 days before the
first class meeting are eligible for refund or credit. The beehive
reserves the right to cancel a class if fewer than two students
enroll.
Private Sessions. If a class is canceled
due to lack of registration, students will be given
the opportunity to attend the class as a private session
for a $25 upcharge fee. Or, the student has the option
to attend a future session where additional dates will
be provided. |
