Intro to Wet
Felting - $75
wet it, stretch it, form it, wear it. Instructor - Mary Sweeney
Felting is an ancient craft
that has become boomingly popular in recent years. This
process teaches you how to transform wool into a dense cloth by
bonding and shrinking the fibers together.
While there are three main types of felting: Wet felting, needle felting, and commercial felting, this course will cover the basics of wet felting, only. Your instructor, Mary Sweeney, has made felting her day-to-day business, and will show you the ins and out's of the craft in her main studio space in the Old Fourth Ward. After one session with Mary, we're sure you'll be hooked. Tuesdays, 6-8 pm at the Felted
Heart Studio |
